Robyn Spillane from Optimum Health has professionally trained in Sydney as a naturopath, teacher and columnist. Robyn's gentle but disciplined manner allows her to quickly identify the most effective approach to clients needs, and her wide ranging background as a naturopath gives her several disciplines from which to choose.

With diplomas in nutrition, botanic medicine, iridology, aromatherapy and remedial massage, Robyn treats the whole person rather than simply focussing on the symptoms presented.
With over 10 years experience in the naturopathic field, including three years spent working with Dr. Sandra Cabot as a naturopath in the 1990's, Robyn has shared her experience as a teacher with the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney. She is also a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society in Sydney.
Often an initial consultation involves taking a detailed case history, covering the body, the emotions, lifestyle information and bad habits, before an in-depth eye diagnosis - including displaying a photo of the eye on a TV monitor to involve the client in the process. Due to her compassionate, gentle nature, Robyn is able to ease clients into the necessary lifestyle changes for the desired results. During this initial confidential session, the client is often given a diet to follow. This diet is followed for two weeks at a time to enable the client to feel the difference.
Robyn practices as a naturopath in Sydney at her Double Bay office - she has specific views which she incorporates in her diagnosis and treatment of ailments such as;
- Correct diagnosis is critical to effective healing.
- Treatments are individual and work, with the body's own healing process in a wholistic way over time.
- Best results are achieved with clients ready to take responsibility for their own health.
- Traditional and complementary medicine walk hand in hand.
